"Sendte en epost til Tesla med spørsmål om mer info om vekselstrømslading av Model 3
Fikk da denne teksten fra "Technical Charging Specialist" i Tilburg.
Mye er jo kjent men tenker likevel at dette er interessant for flere.
Kommer til å sende noen tilleggsspørsmål tilbake."
Is the charge cable input on Model 3 the same as on Model S and Model X?
No. Model 3 will come standard with a CCS Combo 2 charge port in Europe, which will open up additional third-party charging networks on top of Tesla’s Supercharger & Destination charging networks.
Will Model 3 have access to the Supercharger network in Europe?
Yes, but a CCS connector is required to fast charge. Tesla will retrofit existing Supercharger stations with dual charge cables that are compatible with Combined Charging System Combo 2 and DC Type 2 connectors.
When will a Supercharger be retrofitted?
Tesla is pushing to complete the retrofit of the entire Supercharger network in Europe and Middle East. Completion of a retrofit is dependent on multiple factors, therefore Tesla cannot comment on timing of individual stalls. The navigation in the vehicle will show how many stalls with have a CCS cable for Model 3.
What happens when supercharging M3 with current type 2 cable?
The Model 3 cannot Supercharge with the existing Type 2 cable and requires a CCS cable. Supercharger posts with two stalls are identified with the label Model 3 priority.
How fast can I charge a Model 3?
Model 3 can charge at a maximum of 11 kW on 3-phase or 7.4 kW single phase with any AC charging solution. On a Supercharger, Model 3 can charge at a maximum of 120 kW. The charge rate on 3rd party networks using CCS is not yet confirmed.
Is the 11kW 3 phase AC charging confirmed for Model 3 or will there be an option to upgrade?
Model 3 will have a 3-phase 11 kW on-board charger as standard. There will be no option to upgrade.
Which charge cables can I use for Model 3?
Model 3 is compatible with Type 2 and can charge using the Wall Connector, Destination Charging and any other charging solution with a Type 2 plug, including Mobile Connector.
What charging equipment comes standard with the Tesla?
Model S, X and 3 comes standard with the following equipment:
- Tesla Gen2 Mobile Connector, a cable that can be used for common outlets. The cable can be mounted with the following standard adapters:
- An industrial adapter rated at 3.7kW (16A) for use with the so-called ‘camping sockets’
- A domestic adapter rated at 2.3 kW or 3.0kW for use with domestic sockets. The domestic adapter that comes as standard with your vehicle matches the standard domestic socket in your country.
- A separate Type 2 charging cable for public stations
What charging equipment is optional for Tesla’s in Europe?
· The Italian adapter (2.3kW) for the Mobile Connector to charge at domestic outlets
· The 7.4 kW (32A) blue adapter for the Mobile Connector to charge at industrial outlets
· The Corded Mobile Connector with a red plug for 11 kW (red 16A, 3-phase) as a complete separate cable
Additionally I can inform you that the Tesla Wall Connector can be used for the Model 3 as for the S and X.
